40IADE40 intends to be a multidisciplinary international conference celebrating IADE's 40th anniversary, founded in 1969.
Although mainly a Design Institute, for the past 40 years IADE developed expertise in teaching and research in Visual Culture, Photography, Marketing and Advertising. Therefore we are calling for research papers in all areas of Design Research and in areas related with the above mentioned as Cultural Studies, Economics, Gender Studies, Communication Sciences, Visual Anthropology and Sociology, Media Studies, Aesthetics, History of Art, the list could go on and on. The scope of the conference is also to examine the past 40 years evolution in those disciplines and foresee the next 40.
We would like to specially address this invitation to the people that visited us in previous conferences.
This is also a birthday party! We want all our friends with us.
