Yrjö Sotamaa, President of Cumulus underlined the fact that the Lisbon Meeting marked the “globalization of Cumulus” now with almost 100 member Schools from Europe, Asia, Australia, North, Central and South Americas. More about Cumulus can be found at:

This event included the research conference P&P; a workshop in doctoral supervision; the workshop Lisbondiagonallies Catalyst; the workshop Design for Sustainability, from Awareness to Strategies; The Cumulus General Assembly; Working sessions in multiple subjects.
39 countries were represented, 130 abstracts were submitted, 76 full papers accepted, 70 presented, 317 registered as delegates, and 100 education/research institutions represented, The global distribution of delegates were as follows: Australia-5, Austria-6, Belgium-2, Brazil-9, Canada-1, Chile-1, Czech Republic-4, Denmark-14, Estónia-8, Finland-36, France-15, Germany-12, Hungary-1, Iceland-1, Ireland-2, Italy-10, Japan-1, Latvia-1, Lebanon-1, Lithuania-4, Mexico-6, New Zealand-3, Nigeria-1, Norway-27, P.R.China-12, Poland-3, Portugal-47, Singapore-1, Slovakia-1, Slovenia-2, Spain-7, Sweden-25, Switzerland-13, Taiwan-2, The Netherlands -12, Turkey-1, United Arab Emirates-1, United Kingdom-14, U.S.A.-5.
The Conference Proceedings Book was printed prior to the conference. Available by request made to Carlos Duarte cduarte@iade.pt or unidcom@iade.pt. Cumulus will print a smaller book of selected papers, an edition of “Cumulus Working Papers”.
